CAMAQ COMPUTER LAB: UNIQUE IN NORTH AMERICA!
The CAMAQ computer aided design and manufacturing lab is located at the École Polytechnique de Montréal and is supervised by Dr Clément Fortin, Director of the Mechanical Engineering Department. The computer lab, an initiative of the Centre for Aerospace Manpower Activities in Quebec (CAMAQ), was made possible through a partnership with IBM Canada, Bell Helicopter Textron, Bombardier, Pratt & Whitney Canada, and the Quebec Government.
The CAMAQ lab represents the best in terms of solutions for the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) approach.
CATIA
The aerospace workplace is evolving toward an integrated, multi-site, highly collaborative engineering environment in which design, development, manufacturing and service functions extend across traditional intra-company and inter-company boundaries. CATIA, a computer aided three dimensional interactive application, allows engineers to work effectively in the virtual enterprise environment. |
